With the ability to easily drive most headphones, output to powered speakers, and even function with hybrid desktop/portable power, the DM13 redefines CD playback for the modern era.

The DM13 stands out thanks to its unique design, which incorporates two CS43198 DACs paired with two HiFi SGM8262 low-noise amplifiers. This dual DAC and amp setup not only ensures high-quality playback but also enables a 99-step fine-grain volume adjustment directly handled by the DACs themselves. Each change in level is smooth, natural, and precise, ensuring crystal-clear sound at all volume levels.

Despite its reduced form factor (144 × 137 × 27 mm excluding feet), the DM13 delivers remarkable performance:
